50th Anniversary Prayer

​

Heavenly Father,

You have called us to be a Community of Faith, Worship

and Service, a Family of Believers, a local church centered

and built upon Christ Our Lord.

Father, we are so grateful for the blessings

our parish has received since St. Andrews

first opened its doors fifty years ago.

We think about all the Baptisms that took place here,

all the First Holy Communions, all the Confirmations,

all the couples who got married here.

We thank You, God our Father,

for helping this Daly City church to become

a powerhouse of prayer and a place

where everyone is welcome, everyone belongs.

We thank You for the bonds of Christian love that connect us all.

With the intercession and example of Our patron,

St. Andrew, the first disciple to be called by Jesus,

we look ahead to the next 50 years and say,

“With God, all things are possible!!”
